Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesDistinct PersonsI am not "oneness" - but you ARE. It doesn't matter that you label yourself "Trinitarian" (just like it doesn't matter that Trinitarianism labels itself "monotheism") it's the DESCRIPTION of what is believed that is the reality, not the "label" . Have you ever bought something in a store and had to being it back because it was labelled incorrectly? In that case what did you believe, the label or what the item clearly WAS when examined? What I am doing is EXAMINING what this doctrine clearly intends, but you call it "word games". the TRUE "word game" is the incorrect label. Now will you address why you incorrectly label yourself Trinitarian when your remark concerning your understanding of persons/roles (per this issue) is without a doubt "Oneness"?
i understand your point - but all you have done here is DISCREDIT the claim that the Trinity is "clearly taught" in the NT and that the OT clearly depicts a suffering Messiah by acknowledging that neither is found in any ONE verse. ONE, but apparently you think there is more than one since you capitalized gods. [/quote] If I didn't capitalize "Gods", Omega or yourself would probably avoid the point by saying that you don't believe in "gods" or any "god" (small "g") But now we are getting somewhere So you believe that "one" as in "one God" should not be translated "unity" as Omega does? |
