Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesThe Nicolaitane DoctrineAgreed, the doctrine of the Trinity is NOT "inescapable". (another "blurb", I guess?) How have the scriptures refuted me? I told you, for the purpose of this question, I'm not disagreeing with your" Jesus and the Father are distinct/both Jesus and the Father are deity" points. I'm asking you HOW this is different from polytheism, since a polytheistic scenario is that all the deity that exists is made up of DISTINCT PERSONS WHO ARE NOT ONE ANOTHER - i.e. - GODS (plural) All you have to offer in response is that the Trinity is ONE GOD, not "many Gods" - but then you have also explained that the "one" in your concept of this "one God" IS NOT NUMERICAL, but means a "unity". Guess what? Polytheistics also do not believe there is only one God in NUMBER - that's...WHY...it's...polytheism NOT monotheism. Do you NOW understand? |
