A genuine believer only kneels down before Jesus Christ, and on this wise worship Him ( see Matthew 2.2; Matthew 14.33; John 20.27-29), who is the only Everlasting God (1 John 5.20; 1 Timothy 3.16; Isaiah 9.6; Colossians 2.9; Titus 2.13; Hebrews 13.8). Nevertheless, once a catholic seminarist did ask me: Have you received the Holy Spirit?; I answered him that the Holy Spirit was talking them (him and his partner) through my mouth!. Then he said, so I might kneel down myself before you!. When I began to answer him with the Lord’s Word, they said to each other “it’s late, we must go back”. But before they went away, I had asked them: Do you know which is, at present, both the earlier and most important Sect among them, which call themselves Christians? (see 1 John 2.18-20). They did doubt and didn’t know what to answer.
Among Catholics, people usually kneel down either before persons or images; such as, at first, the so called Pope (Matthew 23.9; Luke 16.15) among many others which are below the Pope, all of them do accept that their devoted kneel down themselves at their feet to worship them. (If they say it is not to worship; them, what does it mean?). In addiction, catholic persons do image – worship kneeling down before them, for they believe those represent the Lord and both saints and “saints” whose images should replace their physical presence.
The Lord’s Word expressly forbid these proceedings, and He does affirm that as such are dead things, idols, the work of man’s hands, are also dead both who makes them and everyone that worship them (Deuteronomy 4.15-19; Psalms 115.4-8, Psalms 135.15-18; Isaiah 44.9-20). Moreover, Paul the apostle makes fast: “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh; yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more” (2 Corinthians 5.16). A genuine believer didn’t know, nor knows neither shall know anyone after the flesh (Galatians 1.1-10; 1 Corinthians 7.23; 1 Peter 1.18-19). For God is the Holy Spirit, so the true worshippers shall worship Him in Spirit and in Truth: For the Father seeks such to worship Him (John 4.23-24). Let’s consider now that according to Catholicism, Peter the apostle was the first “Pope”, because of that belief it’s essential we search out from Scriptures how Peter did proceed when Cornelius worshipped him; likewise Paul and Barnabas, all of which had the Holy Spirit from God. Cornelius kneeled down at Peter’s feet and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying: Stand up, I myself also am a man (see Acts 10.25-26). Afterward they had heard the Word of God through Peter, the Holy Spirit fell down upon all of them, and they were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ (see Acts 2.38; Acts 4.12; Acts 10.44-48). At this point, we do perceive that according to satan’s catholic doctrine, which is founded upon men’s traditions (Galatians 1.6-10; Galatians 1.14; Colossians 2.8-12; Ephesians 4.14-16; 1 John 2.18-20), the “believers” ought to worship, for instance, both to Cornelius and all those persons which were beside him for they all did receive the Holy Spirit, committing on this wise an abomination (sacrilegious). This things they exactly do and teach, but the Lord doesn’t hear sinners (see John 9.31; John 8.31-45; Matthew 23.13-15; Matthew 23.24-28).
When Paul and Barnabas did hear that Lystra’s people thought that both of them were gods (Mercurius and Jupiter) and would worship them, they rent their clothes and ran in among the people, crying out “Why do ye these things?!. We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the Living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein” (see Acts 14.8-15; Psalms 24.1-2). “Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways …” (Acts 14.16-17). (And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them (Acts 14.10). As it is possible to see, Peter, Paul and Barnabas didn’t, by no means, permit to be worshipped by people; Are the “Pope” and his followers better (superior) than the Lord Jesus Christ’s Apostles?. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself being tempted of the devil answered him: “Get thee hence, satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve”. (Matthew 4.10) (see also Matthew 4.1-10; Deuteronomy 6.13; Luke 4.8).
The Lord Jesus Christ is God Himself, who came into the flesh as a man, therefore He’s the FIRDTBORN among many brethren (Romans 8.29; Hebrews 1.1-13; Hebrews 2.10-18; Mark 3.34-35; Colossians 1.15) to Whom we must follow doing everything as He did (1 Corinthians 11.1; Ephesians 5.1); because He’s the Wisdom; the Way; the Truth, and the Life (Matthew 11.19; John 14.6; Proverbs 8.17). So following his Living Teaching, let’s consider that He didn’t kneel down before satan, it is to say He didn’t worship him; on this wise, none which is a genuine believer must, by no means, either animals nor things any kind they are; ONLY BEFORE GOD (see Deuteronomy 6.13; Matthew 1.20-25; Matthew 14.33; Luke 24.50-52; Mark 1.6-13; John 4.24; John 20.27-29; Hebrews 1.6).
Holy Spirit: It is God Himself, and it’s possible receive Him only being in Jesus Christ, calling upon his Holy and Everlasting Name (see John 4.24; Acts 4.12; Acts 9.10-18; Acts 22.12-16; 2 Peter 1.1; Colossians 2.9).
It’s recommended to the Reader to search out: “Jesus Christ is God, who did Manifest Himself into the Flesh as a man”.
