Quote:
I have not claimed that the Qur'an was plagerized.
Really?
Quote:
That's odd you would use the plagerism argument when your own Qur'an has plagerised other Books namely the Bible and the Apocrypha.
Funny how you try to deny your previous statements.
Quote:
I see the hypocrite as the one who calls me a plageriser for mimicking Qur'anic content, and then denies that Muhammad was a plageriser for mimicking Biblical and Apocryphal content.
Can you show me any other book on earth that uses:
-an introductory formula (bi-ism)
-the symbolic letters
No? Then those afre two things that you copied from the Qur'an. You admitted to using Al-Baqarah as a 'model'. That's a round about way of admitting that you copied the verse and then just altered them. We saw how they matched up. Can you show me surahs from the Qur'an that match up other books in that way? Full surahs that follow the exact same sentence structure?
No you cannot.
eg. Let's look at this verse of yours:
Quote:
Dhalik al suratu la bida’ah feehi hudan lil mu’mineen
All you did was replace kitab with surah, replace rayba with bidah, replace mutaqeen with mumineen.
And you are still runnig from my challenge.
Quote:
You really want me to send you a personal recording?
Can't you even try to recite it for yourself like I recited it for myself. Or are you afraid that you'll be sinning?
It isn't an issue of sinning. I am pointing out the distinction between tarteel and just reading something. Tarteel does not fit the structure of any other literary piece other than the Qur'an.
So, yes, send me a recording, that surpasses the eloquence of these recordings:

http://quran.islamway.com/ayyoubharam/002.mp3
CAN YOU DO IT? THE QUR'AN CLAIMS TO BE THE MOST ELOQUENT BOOK. AFTER LISTENING TO THE RECITATION OF THE QURAN BY THE QARIS I KNEW IT WAS TRUE.
SO SHOW ME A RECITATION THAT IS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE ABOVE RECITATIONS.
CAN YOU SHOW ME A RECITATION MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THOSE?
CAN YOU?
Quote:
I must admit that so far you have shown yourself to be of higher integrity than some other muslims who I have encountered, and for that I am grateful.
Thank you. I am only what my religion teaches me.
And lastly, you claimed that the rules discussed here are nothing more than man-made rules.
The answer is that they are supported by the Qur'an which says:
69:41 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe!
So to produce a 'surah like it' it must not be poetry, which the article goes into detail about, defining the different types of poetry.
That is the challenge and it has been unmet.
Moreover, the Qur'an foresaw these attempts 14 hundred years ago and responded to them:
3:78 There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah. It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!
So when I see these attempts it only furthers my belief that the Qur'an is the word of God.
