ArchivedCan they be saved? What I am trying to say in regard to the question is that part of being saved is admitting that God has all the answers and I don't. God is a person- not an object so it doesn't matter what I know about Him- what is important is that I know His desires, His feelings, what He wants me to be and who He wants me to be and knowing what pleases and honors Him. If we are going to be fruitful and productive Christians we are going to have to focus on what Christianity is really about- it is about living here right now- if we are going to argue over silly things like the name "trinity" (which is a word describing an idea in the Bible) we aren't focusing on the things of God but the things of man. There is alot of stuff God doesn't want us to know and the reason is all the fighting over it when it really doesn't matter. Jesus came to set the foundation in place for a perfect world. We are to work at getting along and helping each other and ALL working together. We can only do this through Jesus. We have to live by Jesus to improve this world. Jesus came so that we can have life NOW- we need to make the kingdom of heaven right here on earth so don't worry about how a person interprets the Bible, but worry about what God wants YOU to do. Live in the moment. Know what you believe and why, Don't worry about being saved- Love being saved- that love will spread and that will open the ears, eyes, and hearts of the people around you so that God can draw them to Himself using you just being yourself. |
