Just thought I would toss that in so everyone knows what is being discussed ...
I seem to remember something about a bright new star in the east signifying the birth of an important person ... Hmmmmmmmm ...
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the(astrologers), the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. (Isaiah 47:13-15)
Try and study the scriptures diligently and see for yourself the difference between the stars being used for signs and for "DIVINIATION", re-read your definition posted above.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: (Genesis 1:14)
The magi were who were probably astrologers used the star as a "sign" for the birth of the Messiah, not by divination. Even though the "magi" probably praticed astrology, the process of determining the location and time of the birth of Christ was not divination, but was the process whereby the stars and celestial bodies were used as signs.
Divination:"qecem" Hebrew, literally divination, witchcraft.
Divination:div·i·na·tion(n)The art or act of foretelling future events or revealing occult knowledge
by means of augury or an alleged supernatural agency.

Maybe because they are just that ... Biblical truths ... Perhaps what yopu believe is not what she believes ... The personal truth to her is probably a bit different than yours ...
What else do you know of her path?
I'm not sure about others but I am completely aware of what Astrology is. If what she believe is not found within the bible as an established truth, then it is not "Biblical Truth". The bible is founded upon just that, TRUTH.
You certainly know how to take a prayer request and twist and ruin it, congratulations!
BTW, if you would like to spark a debate on astrology then be my guest, however this is not the appropriate forum.
God Bless!
