Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesSpoken to the WorldSince you understand, why don't you explain my view on the matter (this thread)? If you don't, stop saying things you cannot back up. The only thing I've judged in this topic is that God's word is true. You have qouted my initial post and said I'm judging. Since you understand me, explain how I have done so in that post.
You have already judged/rebuked me. It is odd that you say you can't do that now, after you already have. I'm not making an excuse for my sins. Though I have sins, what I have spoken is not sin. How blind you are. I don't dispute that what Christ spoke is the gospel. Yet, you call the scripture, men's words when I qoute them. Christ was speaking through them. So they are Christ's words. Let's see if scripture agrees. 2 Peter 1:21 - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. From this we see that the Holy Ghost (God) was speaking through the prophets of Old. So what they spoke were God's word. Now if John was the greatest of the OT prophets who spoke as the Spirit (God) uttered, yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater, then whose words are being spoken by those who are born of the Spirit? 1 Corinthians 14:37 - If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. Paul says He is speaking the commandments of the Lord, yet when I qoute Him, you call it the writings of men. Do you really believe the bible is GOd's Word, or is it just the letters in red? Any scripture I post is the words of Jesus. Is it not the Word of God? If I qoute from the word of GOd, I'm qouting God unless it is not His Word. Why must you speak with such ignorance "Truth Seeker." I'll qoute these again: 2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. Titus 1:13 - This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Titus 2:15 - These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Revelation 3:19 - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. You say I have a problem qouting Christ, yet Rev is "written in red letters." He said those He loves, he rebukes. He doesn't say I rebuke their sins. He says I rebuke and chasten, and goes on to say repent. So you only accept the red letters to be the Word of God? Who do you think spoke from Mt. Sinai? It was Christ, but the letters are not in red. WHo do you think spoke to and through the Apostles? It was Christ, though the letters are not in red. Paul said, I'm speaking the commandments of the Lord. Do you think he was lying because they are not in red? You pick and chose. YOu think red letters are more authoritive than black leters. How blind you are indeed. That is what's sad. Jesus didn't rebuke people? In Rev. He says He does. Let GOd be true and every man a liar right? Or is that meaningless because it's not in red. Well, we see Christ said He rebukes, let's see if He did. I don't think I have to qoute this example. Christ called Peter (not his sins) Satan. How much more harsh can a rebuke be? Matthew 23:13 - But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. He just rebuked the scribes, calling (judging) them hypocrites. He didn't call their sins the hypocrite but them. Matthew 23:16 - Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! He rebukes them again here, calling them blind guides. Did He call them or their sins blind guides? You make a god to suit your own image. You don't accept Christ for who and what He is, but you try to change Him to fit your deceptive view of "christian love." Was Christ not walking in love with the rebukes given above? Let me give you more, and hopefully you will understand and change.
I have yet to see Him rebuke a sin. I only see Him rebuking people. Well, you wanted Christ's words qouted. Are you please? I have more for you, don't worry. Luke 11:43 - Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Did He say the people or their sins are of the devil? The people. Your Christ is a false one. One who sits by idle, speaking nothing but sweet words. A Christ who would never rebuke a person. The True God is one of Judgement and Wrath. Do I need to qoute the many scripture of Christ in the OT. How He (Christ) destroyed the whole world pop except for 8 souls. How he slew 3000 of His own chosen for their disobedience. How he brought HIs own into captivity for their disobedience. How he destroyed the Canaanites and order man, woman, and child, to be put to death for their wickedness. And the same apply for us and our wickedness. God does not change. He is one of Wrath and Judgement as well as Love and Mercy. Yet you deny this God and make up your own idols in Christ's name, who only speaks sweet words, hating the sin and not the person. Romans 9:13 - As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. This is Christ words, do I have to qoute the OT for you. God said Esau (the person) I have hated. The god you claim to serve doesn't do such things. But the True God said, Esau, I have hated. Was God displeasure with him not because of his sins? God was displeased with him because of His sins. The sin is not what God said He hated. Do you need more evidence from scripture. Or would you like those pretty red letters? Matthew 5:13 - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. We are the salt, but if the salt loses it savor, it's good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under foot. It seems like the persons (salt) are what is cast out because it lost it savour (rightouesness). Did He not call the servant who hid his talent wicked? He didn't call the act (sin) wicked, but the servant (person). These things show why you feel I'm condemning. I have done nothing but qoute the bible and you take it as me condemning you b/c His words convict you of your idolatry. Repent Truth and seek God, for you have changed the true into a image of your imagination. With Love, |
