Peace
Endurance: Your Christ is a false one. One who sits by idle, speaking nothing but sweet words.
Oh, now it's "my" Christ and "your" Christ? Now thats is truely sad.
Enurance: Paul says He is speaking the commandments of the Lord, yet when I qoute Him, you call it the writings of men.
Oh, I take all of Paul's word's as the words if Jesus. Like this one that seems to contradict your whole "tough love by judging" theory.
2 Corinthians 2:5-8 Reagrding sinners. 5If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you, to some extent—not to put it too severely. 6The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient for him. 7Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.
Or:
2 Corinthians 5:19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.
Now here Endurance, Im going to try to explain it to you to try and help you understand how you are wrong.
Now, according to you.
Now as for love. Love is looking out for each other. I don't walk in that fake love you desire when no one confronts you (you generally, not directly) for your wrongs. If you love me and I do something wrong, you should confront me.
That would be fake love, for me to just say kind words. "Oh no, don't let me be a little offensive. Let me sugar coat the truth or just be understanding and encouraging. To show him I love him." Indeed that would be an "act."
If someone you cared for was about to or doing something wrong, would you not give them a warning?
Example:
You have an enemy, who does constanly sin. He is your enemy for a paticular reason.
According to your theory: you would "call" him on his sins to in your mind; better help him and warn him of the judgement to come from the Lord.
Result: Since we are all sinful, your enemy will resent you more for pointing out his faults and wrong doings. Hence, remaining your enemy.
According to Jesus: He said "Love your enemies more than your friends."
Result: Showing nothing but love even towards your enemies, eventually they will not have a reason to resent to. After time, they will no longer be your enemy.
This also works with your friends, because Jesus said:
Mark 13:28-31 28One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Also Paul said:
2 Corinthians 12:15 If I love you more, will you love me less?
But according to you, If I live this way, it is:
Endurance: I don't walk in that fake love you desire
and then:
Enurance: Your Christ is a false one. One who sits by idle, speaking nothing but sweet words.
Which has led me to sorrow and I have prayed for you.
Jesus is Lord
Peace and Godspeed
