Christian/Muslim ThreadsGod in Christianity: Do you worship the flesh or the spirit? :: replyreply Then why do you have to make a clear distinction between God and the Holy Spirit? Why not call it the Spirit of God, after all God is Himself, a Spirit, isn't he? Why create an erroneous concept to include within a Trinity, when God is Himself spirit and holy? Please explain how Jesus, the son of man - created flesh, is a part of the god-head? If its not his flesh which is a part of the god-head, rather the spirit which dwelled with him and within him, than how are you, as a born-again Christian different than Jesus, when you yourself have that same exact spirit with you and within you? Other than Jesus being more spiritual and spiritually guided, there is no difference, is there? Before you even compare the spirit of God dwelling through and in multiple flesh-people, examine the 100% Man 100% God doctrine. Explain to me the concept, and you will see for yourself how Jesus, who is 100% man, that he, the man-person, is not God, rather God who is 100% spirit dwelled with and within Jesus, no different than such dwelling with and within the apostles and disciples Jesus, no different that the Prophets of God, no different than you or any other "born-again" Christian! Exactly, but you don't worship the Word, you don't worship the flesh, you don't worship the scriptures, you worship a spirit who is the creator, originator, and sustainer of all existance, and is called by human language - God, Dios, YHWH, Elohim, Alaha, Adonai etc! No flesh-man-creation goes by these attributes nor can, because the flesh is not God! Then why even have the concept of Trinity, and why create a doctine called "the Trinity"? Why do you follow this Church-created doctrine, when God is NOT limited to three? The number "99" DOES NOT exist anywhere in Quranic scripture NOR collected Hadith. This number was collected by an ordinary person who did not even collect all of the attributes of God, as told to us in the Quran. In the very first chapter of the Quran, Al Fatiha, there are two attributes of God that are not mentioned within this "collection of 99" - they include, Rabul Alameen (Lord of the Universe) and malikyom-i-deen (Master of the Day of Judgement) .... Since the figure 99 does not exist in the Quran or Hadith, the figure is not a part of our faith (Islam). |
