Homosexual Discussion Forumalright, im really sick of you type of ChristiansOrigen wrote:Aineo wrote:Origen wrote:But if it isnt clear to you, then this should be: you are not the Holy Spirit, and are therefor in no position to dictate what the nature of my relationship with God is or is not.
But on the other hand we can discern your relationship or lack of relationship with God based on your words and actions.
No, you cant. Only God can assess that. If we disagree here, we disagree. You simply have too high an opinion of yourself.
God has already told us what He thinks regarding sexual immorality and how He will judge immorality. As to my opinions, again if you accept the Bible as inspired my opinion is based on: 1 Corinthians 5:9-13
9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world. 11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler-- not even to eat with such a one. 12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13 But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves. NAS

I've already spoken to the point on natural affections. I had a few things to say over in the "Reprobate Mind" thread, too.
To which I have responded. "Natural affections" have nothing to do with God's truth. Pedophiles have a "natural affection" toward children so should we allow them to pursue their "natural affections"? Thieves have a "natural affection" for unearned money so they steal.
