We can both stymie one another with "you're arguing from silence." Jesus is silent on homosexuality. If you're hell bent on ignoring the stories of Ruth, Daniel and the Prince of the Eunuchs, and David and Jonathan, then I guess you'd conclude the OT is silent on same gender unions, though I dont see why they wouldnt follow what I've laid out already: that two people should draw closer to each other by drawing closer to God, and that that should be the test of the godliness of any relationship, straight or gay. What I do know is that whenever the Bible is unlcear, or vague about something, the Holy Spirit will always give us guidance for the situation God has placed in front of us. If we listen to Him, we can know whats right.
