Re: Finding Islam's Perfection
What do you want us to take from this article, which btw has nothing to do with this thread. The first thing I picked up from the article was this:
I became an active member and even a leader of a student group. I studied the Bible several times and believed in the dogmas of Jesus being son and part of God, and of the salvation of all people and the reconciliation with God only by his death on cross. At this time, I didn’t scrutinize the Bible carefully enough to recognize that this was not taught by Jesus in his gospel.
The fact is this is part of the gospel Jesus taught.
John 10:25-30
25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these bear witness of Me. 26 "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep. 27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 "I and the Father are one."
NAS
John 14:6-7
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. 7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." NAS
John 10:14-15
14 "I am the good shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. NAS
Now do you have something to post that refutes that your prophet was not illiterate?
