Gabriel was the heavenly messenger sent to Daniel to explain the vision of the ram and the he-goat and to communicate the prediction of the Seventy Weeks. He was also employed to announce the birth of John the Baptist to Zechariah and to announce the birth of Jesus to the Virgin Mary.
And in Luke 1, 19 we can read "I am Gabriel, who stand before God"
How you know this Gabriels actually were not imposters?
Didn't you refer to us this one?
2 Corinthians 11:14
[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Now I take it that muslims believe two things...
1. The angel Gabriel appeared to Muhammad and taught him the verses of the Qu'ran which he (Muhammad) memorized.
2. Muslims believe that Jesus is not the "Son of God".
---------------
St. Luke 1:35
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The Gabriel of the Bible said that Jesus would be called the "Son of God".
Well, we can very clearly tell that the Gabriel of the Bible is not the same Gabriel of the Quran. The message of the Bible is different, then the message of the Quran. There are no known manuscripts where Jesus stated that the angel Gabriel of the Old testament was an imposter. He even mentioned the book of Daniel (St. Matthew Chapter 24). Its very clear that the Gabriel of the Qu'ran is the imposter.
Dear ligh7, This kind of discussion will waste our time.
I'll try not to come to the complicated discussion but this kind of comments are easy to predict.
You refer:
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
You came to reply my words by using your formula about FAKE GABRIEL came to the Prophet (saw).
That St. Luke 1:35 I can say was a FAKE GABRIEL. So what? I can use my oppinion and so are you. In fact, you are not answering my question.
I am asking, HOW YOU KNOW that Gabriel was not an imposter? By showing me SON OF GOD doesn't answer my question. What if I say Satan himself came in the form of Gabriel and teach Mary the wrong thing because the there is no such SON OF GOD teaching in the laws of the PROPHETS. Why not?
So please answer what I am asking about.
Be honest with yourself.
And be honest to your self that you don't have much knowledge about Islam right?
How can anyone believe that the Qu'ran is from God. Is not God good? Is not Satan evil?
Every body believe satan is evil.
Which book (Bible or Qu'ran) teaches good? Does the Qu'ran teach the love of God?
How far you know about Al-Qur'an?
Does the Qu'ran teach to love one another?
Yes. You want me to teach you?
Does the Quran teach to be good to even those that hate you?
Sure, but Al-Qur'an an teach us DIGNITY and be BRAVE not to let people oppress us.
What is the way of Satan? Does Satan like to do evil?
What is your oppinion about Satan's handy work? pls tell me.
Is cutting peoples heads off good?
can you show me the (teaching) verses in Al-Qur'an about what you're sayin?
Is blowing up innocent people good?
Again, another task for you. Mention to me the teaching in Islam about this blowing thing.
Again, is not God good, and is Satan Evil?
Want to talk about it?
Are the teachings of Islam good?
How far you know about Islam?
Are you so blind that you cannot see what goodness is?
May I say that you are the blind one because you can't see clearly what Islam is?
Isaiah 5:20
[20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
3 John 1:11
[11] Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Surah 16:125
Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'ân) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.
