From the way you talk, I can see that you are a peaceful Christian. You are calm. I like that.
You want me to forget the source. Ok.
Let us have a chat peacefully about the word Holy according to Al-Qur'an and Bible.
I will start by give you one of Devine Being of ALLAH
Al-Quddus
Yusabbihu lillahi ma feealssamawati wama fee al-ardialmaliki
alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi
Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah,- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Al-Quddus means:
the One Whose characteristics cannot be conceived by the senses, nor can He be conceived by imagination, nor can He be realized by any mind or reason or judged by any intellect.
Linguistically, it is derived from
"quds," purity or cleanness.
"Al-bayt al-mu
qaddas" means the
Purified House, the one in which people
purify themselves from the filth of sins.
Paradise is also called the place of
quds because it is
free from the ills of the life of this world.
Arch-angel Gabriel is called in Islam "al-ruh al-
quds," the
Holy Spirit, because he is
free from any fault in delivering divine inspiration to the messengers of Allah.
Allah has described Himself as "... the King, the Holy" (Qura'n, 59:23), and He has also said, "Whatever in the heavens and in the earth declares the glory of Allah, the King, the Holy" (Qura'n, 62:1).
Al-Quddoos mainly has the following meanings:
-The One Who is far from every imperfection, impurity, fault, defect, demerit, flaw, error, mistake, shortcoming, deficiency, or from everything derogatory
-All-Holy
-All-Pure
-All-Perfect
The root Q-D-S appears 10 times in the Quran in the following verses [2:30, 2:87, 2:253, 5:21, 5:110, 16:102, 20:12, 59:23, 62:1, 79:16]
