Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinescatholicsI didn't see that particular Discovery Channel episode, so I really can't say anything about it. I have seen a show once about the Lady of Guadeloupe and scientists were baffled by it, it was inconclusive as those kinds of programs usually are. Okay, the Miracle of Guadeloupe occured in the 16th century. Still today many Latin Americans are very strong Christians, not syncretic like some Incans, and have a strong reverence for Mary. They don't worship her. This miracle brought so many to Christ. I can't understand why you refuse to recognize that. You can't conclude "God works in mysterious ways"? I've heard Mexico is a fairly lawless place today, but that's well besides the point. |
