questions! this isn't a slap to homosexuals or gays.
I have pretty much read this forum and for the most part, we all can agree that it's a heated topic in our society today. With the rejection of same sex marriage and the struggle to be accepted, homosexuality takes center stage and concerned citizens are front row center. How long and how far will this issue continue to rise? Probably until the end of this age. However, Hollywood loves to play it up, by desensitizing America, sugar coating it, making it somehow tolerable to the average American family, easier to swallow like an asprin if you will.
This is such a sensitive issue but for once, I can not be silent any longer.
In my opinion, I strongly feel that lesbian and homosexual relationships are not natural. This is one of the key issues. More formidable is whether they are born gay in which I do not believe in either. It's unatural simply because 2 men together can not create life and 2 women together vice versa. Also, there are other scriptures that plainly read it is detestable to lie down with the same sex. Now, if one of the many purposes of mankind is to create life, then one has to wonder what the same sex is doing together? Is it meaningful? All would answer yes. But is that really an honest answer considering the topic of homosexuality and that lesbians and gay men alike would answer yes just to get a bill passed in Congress allowing them to marry. Can they remain monogamous to each other? Every bit of research suggests no!
Or is it just lust, fulfilling the sexual lusts of the flesh?
In my experience, I have not met one lesbian or homosexual that was truly happy living this lifestyle.
I do not believe that homosexuals or lesbians are "born gay!"
Because if this were really a true statement God would have stated it clearly in the Bible somewhere. Why would God create a lifestyle which ultimtately leads to death? It just doesn't make sense. In God, there is life. We clearly see this in the Garden of Eden. He did not create 2 men or 2 women to procreate.
This lifestyle is an individual choice. Some can not come to terms with this conclusion and it may very well be that they do not want to accept it because it would prove them wrong and God right.
In all honesty, I think that alot of disturbance comes from the fact that most lesbians and homosexuals refuse to see it as a sin. I, for one, can not understand why one would call themselves either homosexual or lesbian since the term itself sounds so much like a disease or an alien. It's almost as if they are saying,"I have a disease, this is what it's called, I'm living with it, I do not want the cure, and I don't care how many people I hurt as long as I live out my fantasies, I'm fine, and forget the consequences."
I've also read research that suggests even further devastating effects of this lifestyle. For the most part, couples that are seen on T.V. are fairly young. Now, I've always wondered why I haven't seen any older couples and it's mainly due to the affects of the lifestyle. Some have so many diseases already that they are impaired and can not participate in rallies, not to mention they acquire so many sexual partners a year. Monogamy is not in the equation of homosexual and lesbian lifestyle although lesbians were more apt to stay with one partner, it concluded that the median relationship with a partner was 2.2 years. This study can be found at www.pathlights.com.
I feel that one of the reasons (and it might be the more fruitful) that most lesbian and gays want marriage legal is medical benefits. Another reason is to draw some kind of fund off their deceased spouse should they die. I don't feel it has anything to do with the state recognizing them as a "couple," or that they want the "world" to realize their commitment or love for one another. If this were really the case, why the fuss now, why not 25 years ago?
I know that some will think I'm narrowminded and others might have a few negative remarks to say about my statements. I'm o.k. with that.
Our society's philosophy teaches us that we can pretty much do and say whatever we want, it's called no boundaries and they have also provided another deadly philosophy "There is no absolute right or wrong," and there's a grave danger in these philosophies. As we see in the news and even in our own communities, how far away they have placed God and how much praise is given to man and how sin is right and exalted and how righteousness is "the ancient way to live."
Sometimes I wonder what the moral condition of the U.S. would have been, had they kept prayer, the 10 commandments, and biblical curiculum in schools.
I know that we are in the end times. It is evident. If you do not believe me just watch the news. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. God said before Christs' Second coming it would be like Noah's day; Imorality, lovers of men, haters of God, false religions on the rise, knowledge boost, lasciouvness, homosexuality, boasters, back biters, gossipers, and etc.
What more proof does anyone need?
