I am judging what you posted and I will not apologize for it. As to what I stand for, I stand for God's truth, which tells Christians to love their neighbors as themselves and let Him judge those outside our faith. If you and other Christians are going to judge the gay community by using Leviticus 18:22 then you will be judged by the same law, which no man can keep, for as Paul wrote in Romans he could keep all the commandments but the 10th, which was his downfall.
If you really do love your neighbor, and I am your neighbor, why keep bringing something up that I thought was settled and would you really treat yourself the way you've treated me? Earlier we cleared up the "outright" lie, remember!
I asked, Where's the whole lie? Please reiterate...you responded, "That all gays are disease ridden, promiscuous and choose to be gay. These are
outright lies and for any Christian to reiterate these lies is to participate in a lie."
I said, "Everyone knows that unprotected sex and promiscuity whether gay or not will eventually lead to sexually transmitted diseases." In this statement, I did not refer to "all" gay people, I included everyone that was having unprotected sex with many partners which in all honesty no one should have sex until they are married. Is that not what God said, "Don't commit adultery!"
The whole point of my first post was that Gays were not born that way and it's an individual choice. You seem to agree.
As far as choosing to be gay goes, Mr. Jenkins said, "homosexuality is Not a choice. many tests have bee done especially Cat scans. a Gay males brain responds sexuality to Testosterone the same way a Female does. you Cannot change your sexuality, only live in Denial. a God who creates people gay just to send them to hell is Not a god.
Your response to him," So you appeal to one study that is not conclusive and then you inserted the research.
Desiree even stated: They were born that way, you can see this clearly how they move and talk etc. etc. so what?"
Your response, "I wonder if you know just how ludicrous this statement is? They were born that way? According to what authority do you make this statement? So far all the research denies that homosexuality is innate, inborn, and/or genetic."
Reading your posts to me and others, you seem to agree it's a choice. So where do you stand?
When I stated, "There is absolutley no medical research suggesting they did not choose this lifestyle neither does the research conclude they were born gay."
You replied,"Actually there is a plethora of medical research that does show men and women who deal with gay desires do not choose to have the desires."
I believe there is a big difference in choosing a lifestyle and choosing desires either wanted or not wanted.
As far as Leviticus 10, how can a person be judged for something they've never done? However, in the same measure a person judges another, they will be judged. There is a difference in judging people by calling them hateful names and a difference in telling a person God really does love you and he said come as you are and he will take care of the situation and clean you up because many people believe that they have to stop what they are doing wrong in order to come to God and know him. He wants all of his creation to know him fully.
The Old Testament is just as important as the New Testament. Thank God, Jesus Christ fulfilled the law or we would be stoned.
The truth is God doesn't hate gay people, neither do I. The truth is what God has said about any sin. He doesn't like it, he doesn't want us to live in it and neither should we. The question is: Does ones character coincide with God's word?
When you disseminate outright lies after you are informed your sources of information are wrong and you continue to defend your sources then you are in fact lying. Now, Dr. Jeffrey Satinover is not only a doctor he is a pyschiatrist who knows more about homosexuality than you do so I suggest you read his book.
I disagree. We've already cleared up "the lie."
Again, the whole point of my first post was that Gays are not born that way and it's an individual lifestyle choice in which you seem to agree.
The bible is my source no one else. He says all sin is wrong so I believe him.
I am happy God set me free and He did it in spite of professed Christians not because professed Christians practice true Christianity.
I am also estatic that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and hopefully you will grow more into the unique individual he made you to be. I
am not bickering with you I am exposing your prejudice and bigotry with God's truth so that if any men or women struggling with homosexuality read this thread they can see that God loves them and is ready, willing, and able to free them from a life of sin.
Prejudice to me means to dislike someone based on their ethnicity or sexual orientation. I never said I hated any person, I disagree with what some people say about homosexuality. It's natural and it's not a choice. If I could have my way, every one would know Jesus Christ but I know that I can not force someone to.
As fas as being a bigot, that doesn't describe me either. I'm not intolerant of others opinions. If I were really a bigot how could I have agreed with you.
You on the other hand would rather judge than introduce those in need to the only Physician that can help them find true peace, joy, and His perfect love.
You made an assumption about me and have clearly judged my person and you've never met me. I do not go around pointing my finger at people, calling them names however I do tell people about Christ's love.
