Vote on a pollWhat is atheism?Hello Beads. This is Narky again (I nabbed myself a new account because I forgot my password and yadda yadda yadda - check with a moderator if you want). I'm sorry it took me so long in the replying; I left the forum for one or two external reasons but have now come back. I do hope that you are still knocking around here. etc. ... I still feel that our perception of whatever this being might be is still a manifestation in this way. My current attitude towards the situation (though it's probable to change or adapt if I encounter some new epiphany) is that 'God' is not a 'someone'. We are 'someones'. I do not believe that fate beyond death (as you say) could possibly be in the hands of a 'someone', it feels far to humanistic to be true to my mind. Personally, I still have doubts about the possibility of something like that (I certainly don't think that you're consciously lying to me so please don't get that impression). Vithee well, Beads.
