Quran and Bible debatewhy quraan is the truthGood morning Islam_paljic. I suggest you study some real history before you continue with your assumptions. The Trinity was defined by Greeks at the 1st Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. Prior to this council professed Christians believed God is one, God is two, and God is three. However, Jesus and his apostles believed and taught that God is one. Therefore, the Trinity became a central tenet of Christianity about 300 years after the resurrection. Unitarians (those who believe in the oneness of God) have been around since the time of the apostles. Now don’t take this comment as an insult but if you understood English you would know that John is not “itself” John is “himself” and that “me” is first person singular not first person plural, so when John said after “me” he did not mean after “us”. Now as I pointed out and you have chosen to ignore John identified the man among them they did not know and that man was Jesus who came preaching after John but was of greater importance than John because Jesus is God’s Anointed One or Messiah. Jesus came after John in time, and by the way the word time is not found in that portion of Scripture. You have added that word so you can ignore than plain language meaning of John 1 and force part of this chapter to refer to Muhammad. In other words islam_paljic, you are doing the very thing you accuse Christians of doing and that is perverting the book that Allah claims to be his words. Did Jesus baptize in the Holy Spirit? I suggest you study the Bible before you continue posting ignorance. The word baptize means to immerse and Jesus “immersed” his disciples in the Holy Spirit in John 20:22. After this event the Holy Spirit came on the disciples with power on the day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2. The comforter is the Holy Spirit, which is the power of God given to all those who by faith accept Jesus Christ as the Savior. The comforter was given to the whole church on the Day of Pentecost. As to Mark 8, you are resorting to another tactic used by false teachers and that is taking one or two verses out of context in a futile attempt to make a point. So let’s put Mark 8:27-28 in full context: The fact some of the Jews thought Jesus was John the Baptist or Elijah or one of the prophets is not the point of this section of Scripture. So once again you are trying to pervert what you have read in a vain attempt to show that the apostles and Jesus expected Muhammad. I am well aware of the fact the majority of Jews rejected their own Messiah. In fact this rejection of the Messiah is prophesied in Psalms 22 and other Scriptures. However the final redemption of the Jews is also prophesied in the OT as well as the NT. I am not going to take the time to post all the Scriptures that show this to be true since you have failed to comment on the three I gave you in a prior post. God will redeem the nation of Israel just before and immediately after the great tribulation when all Israel’s enemies are destroyed by the power of God. You need to read all of Ezekiel not just those portions that fit your agenda. Now as to the British helping the Jews in 1948, where are you getting this piece of misinformation? Now islam_paljic if all you are going to do is try to pervert the Bible and continue to post misinformation concerning world history I will retire from this thread. You might like to verify your information since so far all you have done is try to post revisionism and myths. Also what you quoted concerning Islam only confirms that Muslims are allowed to lie, a practice that Yehovah God detests and will judge all liars to an eternity of torment. |
