Jovaro, you would make your position a lot simpler by just accepting that someone/thing made everything, cause that goes a lot further in scientific plausability than that mere chance and time were cooperating.
You can then decide for yourself who made everything, and then you have the choice to accept or reject that being into your life.
I've had periods where I turned my back on God(most what I managed was a few hours, but anyways) in those periods I was still very aware that God was real, but in my heart I said, I don't want to follow you anymore, I put you outside of my life and go my own way.
Accepting that he exists and made everything, or any other god, does not force you to follow that god, whatever it may be.
If you wish to believe that the invisible pink unicorn made everything, or the big spagetti creature(yes, these are actual faiths) you are welcome to believe that for all I care
