ArchivedJesus: The Son of Man or The Son of God?Jesus is mentioned as the Son of God MANY times in the bible. And this is not only in the gospel of John. So there is no dispute in this whatsoever. During the transfiguration, God the Father said it Himself that Jesus is His beloved Son. How can you not remember what God says in a situation like that? Not to mention the transfiguration is in multiple gospels(The ones that 3 of Jesus' desciples wrote because they were the ones that were there). Also, the fact that the Messsiah died for our sins was prophesied years before this happened. So for Muslims to say that Jesus did not die for our sins, they are not only arguing with the gospels, but they are also arguing with OT scripture. Finally, you call the Qu'ran this magnificant and divine book, but you have not shown me any proof. And even if you have, what makes you think your proof is more valid than my proof? I gave you OT scripture of these things, exact verses. I pointed out the prophesies the bible made about Isreal, which are happening today. All these things show the divine nature of the bible. Not to mention the bible has more manusript evidence than the Qu'ran. Not to mention that Christians produce more fruit than Muslims as webmaster pointed out and showed you by providing general evidence and not biased(I'm not talking about the number of believers, although that is true too, but I'm talking about good works). It is a commandment for Muslims to do good works, but this is not true for Christians. Yet we still do more good works than Muslims despite the fact we are not commanded to. For we are not saved by good works, but unto good works. We do good works by heart, you do good works because a book tells you to. So tell me, what makes my evidence less worthy than yours? (The boldness shows you the main point of this post. This is what I really want to know). You have not even attempted to show me evidence as far as I'm concerned. I'm still waiting.
This is no proof. This is just a biased statement. Be more specific. What makes the Qu'ran more genius than the bible? Show me! I hunger and thirst for the truth! |
