Quran and Bible debateTHIS IS NOT A QURAN AND BIBLE DEBATE !?? You need to read (with understanding) what is found on the site you linked to concerning Ezra. When you do you will find words and phrases such as "tradition", "Jews in Yemen", "according to Muslim sources", and "apocryphal" that show only one group of Arabian Jews may have based an apostate belief on a tradition that has no foundation in true Judaism, a fact Allah should have known in the 7th century. Another interesting fact is how the author of the site selectively quoted from the Encyclopaedia Judaica by ignoring: "Muhammad claims (sura 9:30) that in the opinion of the Jews, 'Uzayr (EZRA) is the son of God. These words are an enigma because no such opinion is to be found among the Jews, even though Ezra was singled out for special appreciation." [Encyclopaedia Judaica, |
