Science, Creation & EvolutionMore Logic (Russels Teacup)Not true. Every day objects apear in the sky that we didn't see before because their light hadn't reached us yet. Once it does, we can judge how far away the objects are and even their age. If we know how far the light had to travel, and how long it took to travel, we know its speed. Admittedly, you are right, for now. But it would seem to make sense that these things happened, for two reasons. First, all those evolutionary paths would have been beneficial for those creatures taking them. A fish becomes a reptile and moves onto the land, which at the tame had less predators. A reptile worked its way to become a primate and moved into the trees and likewise benefited. Our ancestors became us and look what our complex brains and nifty thumbs have achieved? When a mutation happens to a species and it helps them, they live to spread it. That life exists here means it must be able to exist elswhere. It is not impposible at all or we wouldn't exist. |
