I think what seperates humans from animals is our sense of morality, our perception of the suffering of others. That morality extends to other humans, but not to lower animals, provided that they are killed for the purposes of food, clothing etc. I don't agree with hunting for sport. But human beings were designed to eat meat. I don't think Christianity harms animals, I think those super efficient huge food corporations do. |
