Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinescatholicsAieno Wrote: First of all, both Old Testament canons were received from the Jews. Secondly, the Jews didn't settle on the Palestinian canon roughly until 90 AD at the Council of Jamnia. This was after authority had passed from the Jews to the Church. Not only did Martin Luther throw out the seven Deuterocanonicals because they contradicted his new doctrines. He also wanted to throw out James, Hebrews, 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, Jude, and Revelation. I am going to ignore everything else you wrote, I honestly cant be botherd to go through it agian with you. Read my signature regarding traditions and how we are instrcuted biblically to keep them. |
