Genesis 4 is a genealogy and does not tell us that harps and organs were in use. Jubal was the father of those who developed harps and organs. As to the lack of evidence for technology in caves, this does not mean the technology was not available in areas like the fertile crescent. Especially since it only takes one generation to loose technical knowledge if a group is isolated. Why would you expect to find a reference to dinosaurs in Genesis? Genesis focuses on genealogies, with some details concerning specific individuals. It is not written to be a concise history of mankind, it is the history of the Israelites. |
