ArchivedThat Prophet :: Re: How come?Re: How come?
Paul was given authority by Jesus to spread the gospel. He was converted on his way to Damascus (Acts 9:1-22). I never claimed that there will be no prophet after Jesus (again, Muslims are always putting words in my mouth that I never say). I simply said that Muhammed is not a prophet of God based on what I see in the Qu'ran. It is possible that he could have been a prophet, but someone else changed the words he teached, anything is possible. But from what I know, he is not a prophet of God. Again, I'm using the Qu'ran as my source. A prophet that claims to be of God and justifies the violence in Islam is not a prophet of God. Jesus taught love thy enemies, Muhammed(according to the Qu'ran) did not teach such things as Jesus taught. If Christians go out and peform violent acts, then they have no justification for their actions because Jesus never taught that. If Muslims go out and perform violent acts, then they are justified to do so. Again, I'm not saying that ALL Muslims are violent. But there is a problem when you say Islam is a peaceful religion (*cough* Dubbya *cough*). It is NOT peaceful, because they have the justification to do what they do. |
