Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of homosexuals. God told Abraham he would spare it if he could find so many good men. When he sent the angels in male form, the men in the town came out and wanted to have sex with them. Therefore, there were no good men in the town and God blew the homos to kingdom come.
You are a slave to tradition. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of Ez 16:49-50, and in his bartering with God Abraham used the word "righteous" not "good".
Gen 18:22-24
22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. 23 And Abraham came near and said, "Wilt Thou indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 "Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; wilt Thou indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it? NAS
If you are a KJV only man, here it is in that translation.
Gen 18:23-24
23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
KJV
Who is righteous?
Rom 3:9-18
9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; 10 as it is written,
"There is none righteous, not even one; 11 There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; 12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one. " 13 "Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving," "The poison of asps is under their lips"; 14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness"; 15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood, 16 Destruction and misery are in their paths, 17 And the path of peace have they not known. " 18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes." NAS
Before you tell me that Abraham and a long list of others were righteous you need to see how and why they are called righteous.
Rom 4:3-8
3 For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness." 4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing upon the man to whom God reckons righteousness apart from works:
7 "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven,
And whose sins have been covered.
8 "Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account." NAS
Abraham’s righteousness was imputed by and from God.
