ArchivedWhat Koran says about....Also Karrem, Salvation comes by following the teachings of Jesus. The bible says "He who believes in the Son(Jesus), will be saved." Believing in someone does not mean believing they exist, but rather putting their trust in them and follow their teachings. Example- If a husband does not trust His wife and the wife says, "Why don't you believe in me?" The wife is not saying, "why don't you believe I exist." Do you actually think Hitler and the KKK are following the teachings of Jesus? Putting faith in someone means to trust them and follow them. Killing Jews and hanging blacks is not putting your trust in Jesus. Don't you find it strange that someone will call themself a Christian and kill Jews? Jesus Himself was a Jew. Just because someone calls themself a Christian doesn't mean they really are one. Jesus said to love your enemies, because we do not really know who is following God or not, God will be the judge. They might be enemies in our eyes, but they might not really be doing anything bad in reality. So no one should be worrying if Hitler or the people of the KKK are going to heaven. People should be worrying about their own salvation and spreading the gospel, then let God do the rest. The bible says, "you cannot have faith without good works." You have to proof you believe in Jesus by following and obeying what He says. Jesus said, "If you do as I say, you are my desciples indeed." We are not saved BY good works, because our good works are tainted by sin. But we are saved UNTO good works when we put our trust in Jesus. |
