Fine, lets take the Bible references one by one. And remember the instructions on the site you reference: "read the whole chapter".
Gen 19:5 is used by many Christian's to show the destruction of Sodom to be because of homosexuality. This is clearly in error if you believe the Bible interprets and explains the Bible since Ez 16:49-50 give a different reason. However, lets address the Hebrew word "yada".
OT:3045
yada` (yaw-dah'); a primitive root; to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively, instruction, designation, punishment, etc.) [as follow]:
KJV - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, makeself) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skilful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.

Gen 4:1
4:1 And Adam knew (yada) Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
KJV
Gen 4:17
17 And Cain knew (yada) his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
KJV
Gen 4:25
25 And Adam knew (yada) his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. KJV
The idea that the men of Sodom only wanted to become acquainted with the strangers is ridiculous in view of Lot's offer of his virgin daughter's to slack their lustful desires. So this argument is ludicrous and avoids the context of the verse.
Lev 18:22 is an accurate description of gay sex and to exclude it as an admonition to avoid only idol worship is to ignore the rest of the chapter. Lev 18 also labels incest, adultery, bestiality, and child sacrifice as abominations. The penalties for these are found in Lev 20. However, gay theology emphasizes:
Leviticus 18:3
3 'You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor are you to do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes. NAS
And totally ignores
Leviticus 18:4
4 'You are to perform My judgments and keep My statutes, to live in accord with them; I am the LORD your God. NAS
What follows is the morality code for the nation of Israel and to assume these laws apply only because of the idolatrous nature of Canaanite society is to limit the scope of God’s dealings with His people. The site you refer to has conveniently ignored the verse from Deuteronomy that specifically refers to temple prostitution;
Deuteronomy 23:17 "None of the daughters of Israel shall be a cult prostitute, nor shall any of the sons of Israel be a cult prostitute. NAS
Romans 1:18-32
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
Paul is setting the scene for a teaching that continues through chapter 3. However, our concern is only with the next few verses.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen
The refers to sexual immorality that ran rampant through Roman society and was not limited only to idol worship. In our society instead of marble idols in marble temples people worship athletes in stadiums, stars in theaters, singers in concerts, immorality on TV. An idol is anything we prize more than our relationship with God.
26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
Gay theology and gay proponents like to state that what is natural for them is homosexuality, however, this avoids the fact that Paul is referring to God’s creation and what is natural for His creation. You will note that 3 times Paul writes “God gave them over” in this section. Because mankind did not worship Him He gave them over to heterosexual immorality, homosexuality, and the next time “God gave them over” to a depraved mind.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. NAS
The site you linked to wants us to believe that the immorality in Rome and the homosexuality Paul is referring to is only in regards to idol worship denies history itself. We know that 12 of the first 14 Roman Emperors practiced all forms of sexual perversion that had nothing to do with idol worship, Greek philosophers who taught Rome’s children taught the “Greek ethic” of male love. Tiberius was the only Roman Emperor who tried to live an exclusively gay life to the horror of the Senate and the disdain of the Roman people. So your “authority” is misleading his readers.
My only comment on 1 Cor 6:9 and 1 Tim 1:10 is this; the controversy surrounding the translations of "arsenokoites" is based on this exact word is missing from classical Greek literature. However, since Paul and the Jews of his time used the Greek translation of the Hebrew OT, Paul's readers understood he was referring to the Greek found in Lev 18:22.
Now I will ask you what EVERY gay theology advocate cannot seem to respond to: Where are the Biblical guidelines for same-gender sexual relationships. The Bible has in excess of 350 references to heterosexuality and only 5 that refer to same gender relationships all of which label them a sin and an abomination.
You have accused fallen of violating our posting rules after he posted a quote from the Bible, yet you are violating rule #3 with your continued linking to one site on multiple threads, which is spamming.
