Archivedyout sites persecutionHm, let me clarify this to see if I am following what you are saying. God makes some people straight and some gay? Then it is a choice between them whether they want to follow in what God considers to be "good" and "natural"? I guess I need to flesh out a few things here, first, do you acknowledge that homosexuality may be linked to genetics? If you don't, and you believe it's just a sinful choice, well then, there's not much I can say to get through to you. If you do...then by your logic God is creating, arguably, immoral inequalities here in the propensity for happiness among his creations. The heterosexual creation can live a happy life physically, while adhering to God's sacred commands, while, the homosexual, on the other hand, must embrace abstinence from sex to follow God's path. So a choice is being forced on one and not the other, to completely forsake physical pleasures in the material world to secure eternal felicity...how is that fair? Isn't God supposed to be just? Thoughts please, once again this argument is grounded in the idea that homosexuality is genetically predisposed, something that science is in the process of proving. |
