ArchivedThe Quran misunderstands Christians and JewsOkay, I'm back! Abraham came from Ur of the Chaldeans, do I'm sure He was a polytheist in His early life. And your point of view is utterly wrong, like your faith! The Father,Son, and Spirit are one, and you don't understand this! You are at the pinnacle of self deciet! You have been brainwashed by Islam! I most definitely know my faith, and you and your Quran don't! No, you are just decieving yourself. The Quran doesn't point out anything. It's all talk and no substance. Muhammed was obviously very ignorant of Judaism and Christianity. Yeah, don't befriend those who critisize your faith, they might be telling the truth. Now I want to go over a few of these Surah's again. [2.113] And the Jews say: The Christians do not follow anything (good) and the Christians say: The Jews do not follow anything (good) while they recite the (same) Book. Even thus say those who have no knowledge, like to what they say; so Allah shall judge between them on the day of resurrection in what they differ. Jews ARE following something good, they're still following the scriptures of God. If Christians said the Jews weren't following anything good, then that would imply that our Bible isn't good. [5]O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust. This is most certanly wrong because often in History, and even in parts of Arabia during Muhammed's time, Jews and Christians were not buddies looking out for one another, They often conflicted and persecuted each other. Christians were worst to Jews in the long run. [9] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away! [5.82] Certainly you will find the most violent of people in enmity for those who believe (to be) the Jews and those who are polytheists, and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe (to be) those who say: We are Christians; this is because there are priests and monks among them and because they do not behave proudly. Isn't the Quran meant for all people for all times? It's really in this 7th century Arabian mentality of Muhammed. Maybe the Jews that Muhammed met were violent Jews who deified Ezra. Most Jews are not hateful violent people. All Jews in the present definitely do not regaurd Ezra as a son of God, and if anyone had in the past, it certainly wasn't like how Christians reguarded the Messiah. Also, some of these Surahs say you can find friendship with Christians, while others say you shouldn't. they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before How many other people believed that God has a true Son? |
