ArchivedRelationship between a Holy God and sinnersPeace Carol, This is where I disagree with you. God does not like sin but since it does not harm Him, then it is not a problem. People need to come with their sins, for God to be able to judge them. This is the choice of God, for He is above our sins. No one is fit to be in the presence of God, not even the prophets. Well in Islam, you die because it’s your time to die. And the reason being is that as Muslim we cannot predict the future. Will we still be believers in 10 years time? Will Satan be able to get the better of us? That is why we say “inshallah” meaning if God wills. However in the Quran, those who will enter the gates of heaven are: “But the sincere (and devoted) servants of Allah…” (37:40) “But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness that their portion is Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom they say: "Why this is what we were fed with before" for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions (pure and holy); and they abide therein (for ever).” (2:25) So tell me this, are you assured that you will die as a Christian? Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
