You think that the "Truth will frustrate" me, as you so loftily put it?
You think I can't come up with a response to something that cliched?
Why then is it you who is getting frustrated and giving up?
"We are the christians, resistance is futile. Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess. We will add your theological and cultural diversity to our own, your faith will adapt to service us." - The classic borg-again response.
You can fantasize about my eventual conversion as much as you like, you can tattle on me to your imaginary friend and even imagine me writhing in pain for eternity for disagreeing with you (if you're that much of a sadist).
Yet quoting literature at me and imaging it is real will not frustrate nor confound me, particularly when I've been hearing that all my life. It was shocking for a while, then it was amusing and now it's just cliched and pathetic.
Oh wow, look, I've come up with three paragraphs to respond to your frustrater of a question... how unanticipated. Why am I not stumped? Because I have the courage to continue after someone confronts me, even in the face of someone steadfast in their beliefs and certain of their moral superiority.
That of course is not a comment on you, I would never be so callous.
