In the scriptures, God forbade His people to have tatooes because it was a pagan practice. However, I do not see the wrong in getting a tatooe as a means of witnessing.[/quote wrote:
You yourself said that it was a pagan practice, it still continues to be a pagan practice. So does that mean that I must tattoo a satanic symbol on my arm to witness to those kind of people? Remember romans 12:2. It tells us not to be conformed to this world. I don't have to become like those in the world to be able to reach them.
1 Corinthians 4
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
I don't need anything like that to witness, what I need is to be filled with the Spirit and power of God. That is what breaks the barrier. It is the Holy Spirit the bring conviction of sin. Not I. God does not need me to help the process.
Tattoos and "Christians" were unheard of 30 years ago. Now that is acceptable. Has God changed? No, we have changed. Now some say you can be a Homosexual and God only looks at the heart. But the scripture does not just say that. What is next? We must be carefull.
