The different forms of baptism symbolize different things. Immersion symbolizes Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Meanwhile, the sprinkling baptism symbolizes the washing away of sin.
Do I believe my Mom and Aunt are going to Hell because they weren't completely immersed in water? Definitely not! That would be negating Christ's death. He died to PREVENT people from going to Hell.
Anyway, my sister does want to be baptized, but for the right reasons. As important as it is for my Dad to witness her baptism, as well as mine, she realizes that it would be wrong to be baptized when her heart's not in it. Right now, she's feeling like she's far away from God. Not that she doesn't believe or anything like that. The impending death of a loved one can do two things to a person: it can bring them closer to God, or it can pull them away for a little bit. But thankfully, God pulls you right back.
