kyas wrote:3. Quran is to confirm the previous original Books:
It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong). (3:3)
And when there comes to them a Book from God, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of God is on those without Faith. (2:89)
This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than God; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds. (10:37)
It's too bad the Qu'ran contradicts the teachings of God in the Old and New Testament. The New Testament teaches that even if an angel or whoever was to preach a different gospel, let that person be accursed (Galatians 1:8-9). Then all of a sudden the "angel Gabriel" reveals a new religion to Muhammed. The New Testament also teaches that he who denies the Son (Jesus) is the anti-Christ (1 John 2:22). Muslims don't believe Christ is the begotten Son of God. There are many things which show Islam to be a false religion.
kyas wrote:4. Quran is to change some of the laws in Torah and Bible to test on the faith of the followers:
None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that God Hath power over all things? (2:106)
This cannot be, for in previous revelations God teaches:
Deuteronomy 13:1-3>
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
God prophecies and forewarns, He does not edit.
kyas wrote:5. The previous Books were altered:
Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but God hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe. (4:46)
O Apostle! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by God, thou hast no authority in the least for him against God. For such - it is not God's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment. (5:41)
Then woe to those who write the Book (Torah) with their own hands, and then say:"This is from God," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby. (2:79)
Again this is wrong, because the overwhelming manuscript evidence shows that the Holy Bible has not been altered. It's easy for someone to say that things of the pass have been altered to justify their beliefs. But then again the Qu'ran does not bring its proof to show that God's Holy word has been altered. It blindly displays verses which goes against tangible evidence. Most of these verses you quote from the Qu'ran are blind sayings in which no discernment is being used. I can easily say "The Bible has been altered for a price and the Jews and Christians have done it." But there is no proof of my statement, it's just a blind saying. And as Christ said, "If the blind lead the blind, then they both will fall into a ditch." (Matthew 15:14, Luke 6:39)
kyas wrote:As a result there are many contradictions between the Books. Among the clear contradictions are:
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30)
There is a difference between the follwers of god being called "sons of god" and Jesus Christ being called "The Only Begotten Son of God" and the Messiah. Again, lack of discernment here on the Quran's part.
kyas wrote:And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of God (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!" (61:6)
Does the Qu'ran have the right to display the "words of Jesus" 500 years after the fact? I can easily say Muhammed said Jesus was God, but where is my proof? The teachings of Muhammed are already known. So for me to contradict what is already established as Muhammed's words and attribute the new things I am saying to Muhammed will be lunacy.
kyas wrote:The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. (6:115)
If this is the case, why do you initially state that men have corrupted the previous revelations of God for a price? The Qu'ran has testified against itself.
