Christian/Muslim ThreadsThe Main Questions AreThe desire to commit sin echoes in the hearts and minds of every human being, how do you as a muslim embrace the sin nature that is prevalent in every human being, how do you explain it? You notice if you hang around a child nobody teaches it to steal and covert and be selfish with it's toys, all negative characteristics, are you really sure that this is how God intentionally made us, to be evil as well as good. Is this how we are going to be in islamic paradise, doing good and bad, does islam address this sin nature?. This conflicts with the knowledge in the previous two testaments that God is love, that God has no darkness in Him period, then where on earth did our ability to do good and bad come from?. If the shaytan that you believe in was cast out of paradise for not bowing down to Adam, (a conflict with not worshipping anything other than God, even in islam), and Adam was cast out for eating a fruit ( Do you by any chance have an idea what type of fruit islam says Adam ate?) what makes you assured that you won't be cast out of paradise for a similar crime, your ability to do good and bad is never wiped away if you are to go by islam... case in point you will be drinking wine and having sexual intercourse with 70+ virgins yet God banned shaytan from heaven forever for not bowing, and Adam for eating a fruit, but somehow He is going to accept drinking intoxicants, adultery and fornication in heaven. What makes you think He will tolerate and let you stand in His presence with any sin? |
