Salaam Unite,
Unfortunate replies are taken as personal attack, but my concern for the perception wanes. Since you appeal to expertise for validity of argument, my qualification should also be presented. My major was Engineering and I flunked out. Had I known BS degree is required for Islam, perhaps I would have given more attention to studies. Should this soundmeaningless, no problem, accept as being reply in kind. Just to know, many Christians are disciplined in the sciences, who also claim an analytic mind. Although their (and your) personal achievements are commendable and honored, I am not impressed. And don't even think about feeding me the dawaganda line on Islam being an intellect's religion.
I have acknowledged the criticism and lectures, so you have made no great analytical discovery in this department. Where a great analytical discovery is needed, that you, yourself only presented rehash introduced as freethought. Despite claims, Islam gave you all the answers (assumes readers know all the questions and answers as well), all you have proven is your beliefs are dependent upon disbelief. Whose faith must be expressed with negation of one form or another and pretense of sound reasoning. As to where agreements are possible, I have already stated their disposition: Left by the wayside, thanks to your articles setting the tone.
Self-important, is that anything like being full of yourself. You know, claiming you can only think analytically and presumptuous to another person's faith, "it does not call you to believe in something in which does not really echoe in hearts and minds." Without caring about who or what "it " refers to, all this is saying, only Muslims expression of faith are sincere and Lord Jesus has called on followers to believe in Him of which cannot be contained in the believer's heart and mind. Perhaps your evidence comes for the Quran, "wala nuqallifu nafsan illa wusaha." If this is true, it could be hypothesized a deity has created Christians with greater capacity of understanding and reasoning than given to Muslims. A deity who is above attributes would have the prerogative to establish as many religions that is willed in accordance to created capacity. Of course the paradox could go on but someone will need to get that Cat, which seems to always come up in discussions with scientific types. Frankly, I need more lecture on Schroedinger's Cat , since I'm under the impression device is, thought experiment many people take too literally. Until/if I obtain more information on how principle of uncertainty was applied, I will assume mentioning the device just sounds good. OK, perhaps (except for the three beginning sentences) nothing more here than strawman, but you submit fallacies as though they are some-kind of virtue. Take a break from yourself.
Afraid and no success, Unite. The only thing I fear in continued discussion with you, is to continue argue your argument. Your notion can have title to success and contrary to opinion I am not interested in winning an argument. The only failure I can meet is being silent while you dawagandize the "simple" religion.
Now for the readers I want to repeat and expand upon an earlier comment. Chance brought me to JFC and what I hope to achieve is uncertain. I do know, I am not here to disparage Muslims, charge their Messenger, mislead on Islam and debase Islam with paganism. Should any Muslims believe I have done so, let me know and I will apologize in haste. Btw: just so everyone may understand, neither I am here to teach Christianity. This is all I will have to say, on this thread.
regards, joseph
