Jesus was a Jew who founded His Church in accordance with Jewish prophecies, not the traditions of men. The first converts to Christianity were Jews, the Jews were God's instrument to guard and maintain His revealed truth.
Jews like us Catholics believe in a form of Purgatory, They pray for the dead, you do not.
Prove it without quoting 2 Mac, which was written by a Pharisee not a prophet of God.

No we can not or this thread would not have been started.
You cant even admit that Jesus Christ never founded your denomination.
Who founded your denomination?

The apostles did not debate. They discussed what God was doing to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul and Barnabas presented incontrovertable evidence the apostles accepted without dissent, which cannot be said for any of your church councils.
As the pope and his bishops are the successors of the apostles, then it would seem only natural for them to do the same.

I have clearly stated what I believe and why. Just as Jesus called, commissioned, and taught Paul apart from the Apostles He can call, commission, and teach any human being who is willing to teach His truth and not manmade doctrine. Now prove me wrong, if you think you can.
