Science, Creation & EvolutionHelix - atheist
Hmmm, can you quote me where I said 'I hate christ'? ( now don't start quoting this now, smart guy ) He's just a man that lived TWO MILLENNIA AGO! (If he even existed). I don't HATE the guy, I just don't understand what all the fuss is about! A guy was nailed to a cross.... Too bad for him, but it seems a bit ridiculous to be talking about it 2 thousand years later. A lot of stuf in the bible doesn't even apply to us anymore. All those rules about when to stone someone to death seem a bit out of place in our society, wouldn't you agree? And wasn't there something about a burning bush, that talked? What is that all about? Ah, here we have it: [Ex. 3:2]: "the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed. " It has been said before that the bible is not a science book; I couldn't agree more. 'My faith?' Oh, you mean a scientific theory. A theory that 99% of the scientists agree with. It's just a theory, not a religion. 'The evolutionists' don't send missionaries around the world to force a doctrine upon people. 'The evolutionists' don't build churches and cathedrals to express their love for Darwin, or evolution or nature or whatever. 'The evolutionists' don't put miniature versions of Darwin's 'Beagle' in little shrines in their houses and in their labs. Haha, no of course not! It's christians that build churches, schools and universities to teach their doctrine, not 'evolutionists.' I don't even like to be called an 'evolutionist' or a 'Darwinist'. As soon as you give something a name, it get's confused with all sorts of other meanings. The Theory of Evolution might claim a few hours in biology class, christianity claims entire schools and universities with teaches only what is considered correct by those who base everything in their lives on an outdated book. |
