Re: Biblical Arguments for Eden to have been Located in Isra
The incite the Lord gave me is based on Genesis 2:6 "Springs would well up from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground", so I realised this Eden river was going underground to feed these other rivers, and then re-appearing as hot springs, or geysers at the headwaters of the four other rivers mentioned in Genesis 2. As I was studying the other rivers, it became clear that every river in Genesis 2 was closely associated with the Great Rift Valley, which is how the water was moving underground.
To the North of Israel, you can see the Great Rift Valley and its associated Anatolian fault zone in Turkey, and see how the Tigris and Euphrates flow out of this Anatolian fault by clicking on the other pictures:

Just south of Israel is Arabia, and the Great Rift follows along the coast of the Red Sea. Here you can see the Pishon River spotted by the Space Shuttles radar imaging system, and how this river is associated with transform faults that are connected to the Great Rift.

The Great Rift continues south into Africa, where it moves south along one side of Lake Victoria, disappears and then continues down the other side of Lake Victoria. See:

Of course this all started in Israel, where the Eden’s river flowed down from Mt Moriah into the deepest scar on the face of the earth – the Dead Sea rift. There also a picture here showing the previous extent of the Dead sea, and how it looked like a sword.
