Science, Creation & EvolutionEvolution Stickers To Be Removed From TextbooksIt's biology, namely microbiology, though my studies have been in everything from ecology to molecular cell biology. Assuming my interview goes well later this year, I should be working for a gov't laboratory in microbial biotech. Yes, there are. But they have often been wrong and have no suitable refutation of accepted theories. For instance, Sir Edward Hoyle is a respected astronomer who has used certain mathematical probabilities to disprove the creation of, say, basic proteins. He is, however, wrong since he neglected to take into account cumulative evolution which quite nicely makes his astronomical numbers shrink. I believe he also attacked how the first life forms came into being, obviously not knowing that this is abiogenesis, not evolution. I have read of many more who still doubt evolution. I have also noted that not one has had such works published in respected peer-reviewed journals like Nature or Science. Until they come up with a readily accepted alternative to current thinking on how life progressed, then they will remain on the sidelines. Make no mistake, their banter is no more respected than those few scientists who also believe Roswell had alien landings. |
