Of course they don't. Who said they did? If we knew everything about the universe already, science would be quite redundant.
BTW, if you have taken the time to actually review what is going on with questioning the speed of light this subject is gaining acceptance by scientists worldwide. Change is slow in science and advancements in knowledge are gained by questioning the accepted standards not by parroting accepted standards.
Show me. I want some evidence that it's "gaining acceptance". Last I checked, no one cared because the idea was preposterous, a bit like those proposing it.
As one person pointed out on the speed of light thread the big bang actually supports the Bible. "God said let there be light. Gen 1:3" At the moment of the big bang the universe was flooded with photons or light. Interesting similarities don't you think?
Genesis 1:9
9 Then God said, "Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so. NAS
Have you ever heard of Pangia? Another similarity between theoretical science and the Bible. Coincidence maybe, but I don't believe in coincidences.
Quoting the Bible does not prove the Bible. I'd do the same for the
Star Wars trilogy, but I know you'd see through that and it's ultimately pointless. Like quoting Genesis in a science discussion you might say.
