Today, I was visited by two very nice Jehovah's Witness women. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to begin the conversation that would lead me to witnessing to them. How do you broach the subject of salvation through Christ only, and not through works? (I'm currently visiting a website that states that JWs believe in salvation through works. Is this accurate?)
Also, is the Book of Revelation the only one that discusses the circumstances surrounding the beginning of the Messianic Kingdom? Because I read in the January 15, 2005 issue of "The Watchtower" that JWs beleive that the kingdom was established in 1941 and that Jesus arrived in an invisible form. I need to know all of the Scriptures that refer the Kingdom's beginning, so it can be made clear to these women that the Kingdom has yet to come.
Also, please recommend some questions that I should ask these women when we next meet. I already have the following.
1. What have you been taught about Jesus Christ?
2. What have you been taught about how one can obtain salvation?
And please recommend any other Scriptures that'll come in handy.
Thank you!!
