Christian/Muslim ThreadsUsing Science to back up a religion is Silly????LMAO, nostradamus? his prophecies are so vague that you cannot apply them to any point in history..... ill give you examples between nostradamus and Muhammad (pbuh) (not quran, from hadith). Nostradamus: The ancient work will be accomplished, And from the roof evil ruin will fall on the great man: They will accuse an innocent, being dead, of the deed: The guilty one is hidden in the misty copse. this is one of his more famous prophecies supposedly about the death of Jhon f Kennedy. ITs extremely vague and could probably apply to thousands of men throughout history. Nostradamus didnt have the gift of prophecy, he had the gift of concealment, he made his writings so vague that one day something resembeling them was bound to come true. Muhammad (pbuh): 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, the fourth Rightly Guided Caliph, had also been informed by the Prophet of his assassination in such detail that he knew the man who was going to kill him, and identified him and pointed him out to the people. They asked 'Ali why he did not kill the man and he replied: "Then who will kill me?" The night preceding his assassination 'Ali had come out, and gazed at the sky and said: "By Allah he never told a lie, nor was a lie ever told to him." The next day the same man killed 'Ali, and his blood spilled down his beard, as the Prophet had described. Muhammad (pbuh) gives subjects and times, not vague at all... Some ones i thought you might find interesting.. The Prophet (saw) is reported to have said that the day is near when a man can keep in contact with a device smaller than a shoe that he will wear on his hip. The Prophet (saw) is reported to have said that the time is near when a horse can live its entire life without being ridden on. The advent of telecommunications and automobiles as a sign of Quaymaat. |
