On a thread in an Apologetics forum on another message board I quoted:
Hebrews 4:15-16
15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. NAS
I then posted this:
Aineo1 wrote:Now if Jesus can be tempted in all things as we are where does Scripture record He coveted (the one sin that defeated Paul all the time - Romans 7), when was He tempted sexually, and in all other ways we are tempted? What tempts all mankind on a daily basis? Can you even imagine a 33 year old man never lusting after a woman? I can't! While in the flesh Jesus had to go through puberty. No can you remember what went through your mind during puberty and how you gave into lust?
I got a response that called my view heretical.
So my question is how many Christians who claim to take the Bible as literal truth would view Jesus dealing with sexual issues heretical and why.
