I have pointed out that Lewis used pagan symbolism in his fiction, which is not unusual in the fiction of many devout Christians. A Muslim or a Buddhist is not going to see the Lion of Judah in Aslam unless the correlation is explained. To a non-Christian Aslam is a talking lion, not a symbol for Jesus. |
