Like I posted, I smell text proofing on your part. Did you read Deuteronomy 30, if you did you would have read "one by one" and this Rome began to happen in the late 1800's.
In Matthew 24, Jesus said:
Matthew 24:15-16
15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.."
NAS
Daniel 11:29-31
29 "At the appointed time he will return and come into the South, but this last time it will not turn out the way it did before. 30 "For ships of Kittim will come against him; therefore he will be disheartened, and will return and become enraged at the holy covenant and take action; so he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. 31 "And forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.
NAS
Daniel 12:11-12
11 "And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days
NAS
The abomination of desolation cannot refer to either 167 BC or 70 AD since those who conquered Jerusalem were not from the south and Jerusalem was not controlled by secular Jews. In order for the abomination of desolation to sit where it should not, there must be a third temple. Now, if you study Ezekiel 40-48 you will find the plans for a third temple, how that temple will be administered, and how the Promised Land will be apportioned to the sons of Israel.
