ArchivedWhat the bible says about homosexuality....That does not mean it is a sin for women to undergo menses. It has always been unclean for humans not to take a bath (especially in this day and age), but it is not a sin if you do not take a bath. Unclean means, you are unclean. When Jesus would walk around preaching the gospel, His feet would be unclean, but it is not a sin for His feet to be unclean. As soon as He washes his foot, it will be clean again. Some things take more time to be made clean than others. When a woman goes through her period, you think she is feeling clean? When your body, whether male or female, releases fluids you think it is clean? It takes time for the body to get rid of waste and feel fresh again, just as how in the Old Testament it would take women seven days to feel refreshed after just having their period. When someone has a cold, they are unclean. It is not a sin to have a cold, but you are still unclean and others do not want to catch a cold from you. It takes time for you to be free from the cold and be clean again. You want a New testament scripture which is against homosexuality? 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor {the} covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." No matter what translation you use, that verse will always have the same meaning. |
